Tamba is a national charity that can help you

Tamba has a wide range of publications which cover many aspects of bringing up twins, triplets and more, from the moment you discover your multiple pregnancy right through to starting school and beyond.

Members of Tamba :

  • receive a quarterly magazine full of tips for coping, reader offers, features and research news
  • qualify for discounts at selected retailers (eg.10% at Clarks )
  • they have access to a Members area on the Tamba website
  • they have the opportunity to join special support groups - One Parent Families, Supertwins(triplets or more), Infertility group and Special Needs

Tamba also runs a Bereavement Support Group for families who lose one or more babies from a multiple pregnancy.

Tamba runs a helpline for parents & carers of twins or more - call Freephone Tamba Twinline on 0800 138 0509   (7pm - 10pm weekdays / 10am - 10pm weekends) for confidential support and information.

NCT (National Childbirth Trust)

Nottingham Trent Twins & Multiple Births Club

Nottingham Trent Twins & Multiple Births Club aims firstly, to give moral support to parents of multiple births, before and after their babies are born, through childhood and even up until they are teenagers. In the first few months after birth help and advice are needed the most, so they provide information, personal visits to local maternity hospitals and support to families.

Secondly they aim to promote public, commercial and medical awareness of the problems associated with multiple births.
